Keto Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe
This Keto chocolate ice cream recipe is a rich, decadent dessert that’s no churn – so you don’t need an ice cream maker to enjoy your own homemade ice cream.
There are only 4 ingredients in this ice cream:
4 Eggs – the eggs need to be separated, which you can do by cracking the egg over a bowl and placing the whites in one bowl and yolks in another. As this dessert does contain raw eggs, be sure you’re using fresh eggs and refrain from giving it to children, the elderly, those with weakened immunity or pregnant.
1/2 Cup Stevia – for sweetness, stevia is my go to sweetener. You can use whatever sweetener you like and include more or less depending on how sweet you’d like your ice cream to be. (Find stevia on Amazon.)
Cream – use heavy, whipping, double or whatever cream you can whip to thickened whipped cream.
Cocoa Powder – for the chocolate element cocoa powder is used. You can use cacao powder instead if that’s what you have. (Find cocoa powder on Amazon.)
Keto Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe
- 4 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Stevia
- 1 Cup Cream
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
- Separate the eggs into 2 bowls, then whisk the egg whites until thickened and the briefly mix the yolks until smooth and creamy.
- Add the stevia and whisk until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cream into another bowl and then whisk until you have thickened whipped cream.
- Add the cocoa powder and whisk util incorporated.
- Fold the egg yolks and chocolate mixtures into the whisked egg whites.
- Mix gently until you have a smooth, creamy chocolate ice cream mixture.
- Move the ice cream to a freezer safe container and place into the freezer to harden for at least two hours and then enjoy.
