Keto Panna Cotta
This Keto Panna Cotta Recipe has only 4 ingredients and makes a decadent low carb dessert. (Here are more keto desserts that actually taste good!)
To ensure that the dessert is low carb and keto friendly, use extra dark chocolate that’s 85%, 90% or higher that’s as low in sugars and carbs as possible.
You can sweeten the panna cotta by adding in a couple of tablespoons (or more) of stevia, or your sweetener of choice.
Regarding the cream, you can can use whatever cream you have in your fridge, as you’re not whipping it, it doesn’t have to be heavy or whipping, just luxurious cream to create a rich and creamy dessert.
Keto Panna Cotta Recipe
- 3.5oz/100g Keto Chocolate
- 2 teaspoons Gelatin
- 1 Cup Cream
- 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
- Break the keto chocolate into small pieces, which will be easy to melt, and set it aside for when you’re ready for it.
- Place the gelatin into a small bowl and pour over a 1/3 of a cup of water, stir well until the gelatin is completely mixed into the water.
- Pour the cream and almond milk into a small saucepan and place it on the stove top over medium heat.
- Warm the cream and almond milk and remove from heat just before it reaches steaming and simmering point.
- Add the chopped keto chocolate to the heated cream and milk and stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is creamy.
- Pour the gelatin mixture into the creamy chocolate and whisk until fully combined.
- Allow the panna cotta mixture to cool completely, and then pour into serving jars or bowls. You may find it easier to pour the panna cotta mixture into a jug and pour it out from there.
- Place the chocolate panna cotta into the fridge for at least a few hours to thicken and set, then enjoy.
