This Keto Mascarpone Dessert is an easy 3 ingredient low carb chocolate mousse that’s dark and decadent.
Using mascarpone creates a light, airy, super creamy mousse without the need for gelatin or eggs.
To make the easy dessert, you only need 3 ingredients:
Keto Chocolate – you can use any low carb, sugar free chocolate you like. I tend to find that 85% or 90% is usually keto friendly. (Like this one on Amazon.)
Cream – use heavy, whipping or double cream – really any cream that you can whisk into airy whipped cream is perfect.
Mascarpone Cheese – light mascarpone cheese is usually used in desserts like tiramisu and creates a wonderfully creamy and rich sweet treat.
Keto Mascarpone Chocolate Mousse Recipe
- 100g/3.5 Ounces Keto Chocolate
- 2 Tablespoons Cream
- 1/2 Cup Mascarpone Cheese
- 1 Cup Cream
- Place the chocolate and 2 tablespoons of cream into a small saucepan on the stove top over medium heat.
- Cook until the chocolate is melted then pour it into a bowl.
- Using a wire whisk, gently whisk the mascarpone into the melted chocolate mixture until smooth and creamy.
- Get out a second mixing bowl and pour the cream into it.
- Using electric beaters, whisk the cream until it becomes thickened whipped cream.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mascarpone mixture until it’s fully incorporated and you have a creamy chocolate mousse.
- Move the chocolate mousse into a serving dish, refrigerate for a few hours, then enjoy.
