Keto Breakfast Bake Recipe
This Easy Keto Breakfast Bake couldn’t be simpler to put together. You simply get to enjoy all your favourite low carb friendly breakfast staples, just cooked in the oven instead of the frying pan.
It’s really a no fuss breakfast – you simply cook the items, adding more to the dish as you go, depending on how long each item takes to cook.
Low Carb Breakfast Foods
You can feel free to mix and match your favourite low carb breakfast foods. Here are some ideas for ingredients to include in your breakfast bake:
- Eggs
- Bacon
- Sausages
- Steak
- Beef Mince
- Leftover roast meat/chicken
- Feta or another cheese
- Mushrooms
- Cauliflower
- Broccoli
- Zucchini
- Spinach
- Herbs – Sage, Oregano, Thyme or your herb of choice
Below I’ve shared my personal favourite combination of ingredients, but feel free to change them to your tastes and dietary requirements.
Keto Breakfast Bake Recipe
- Sausages
- Mushrooms
- Zucchini
- Eggs
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F and get out an oven proof dish.
- Once the oven has reached the temperature, separate and pierce the sausages and place them into the dish.
- Drizzle over a tablespoon or so of olive oil and place into the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, chop the mushrooms and zucchini to roughly the same sized pieces.
- After the 10 minutes, remove the sausages from the oven.
- Add the mushrooms and zucchini to the dish, drizzle over another couple of tablespoons of olive oil and add a few shakes of salt and pepper, to taste.
- Place back into the oven for a further 10 minutes.
- Once the sausages and vegetables have cooked for 10 minutes, remove from the oven and crack over the eggs.
- Place back into the oven for a final 8 to 10 minutes or until everything is cooked to your liking.
- Serve and enjoy!
