Low Carb Egg and Sausage Scramble Recipe – easy keto diet friendly breakfast recipes with sausages, eggs and tomatoes.
There are so many low carb, keto diet friendly ingredients you can mix and match for breakfast, that I just love coming up with different breakfast scramble variations.
You can use as little or as much of each ingredient as you want. Onions, garlic and tomatoes are on the higher end of the carb spectrum, so it really depends on your tastes and how many carbs you want to allocate to your meal.
I’ve been experimenting with intermittent fasting lately and having 2 meals a day. So, I tend to allocate a LOT of carbs to breakfast and a smaller amount to lunch – hence the bounty of tomatoes included in this scramble. (Note, that I shared this with my Husband – it wasn’t ALL for me!)
In this instance I used leftover, cooked, low carb sausages that I chopped into bite sized pieces. Feel free to substitute in your meat of choice, or leave it out if you’re after a vegetarian breakfast.

Keto Breakfast Yogurt Trifle Recipe – Quick and Easy Low Carb Ketogenic Diet Breakfast Idea that has no eggs and is wonderfully simple.
This breakfast is sooooo easy to prepare and can be adapted depending on your tastes and what you have in your kitchen. Breakfast trifles are fun keto friendly breakfasts when you’re tired of eggs.
You simply layer your favourite low carb, keto friendly ingredients in a glass or mason jar and enjoy.
Regarding yogurt – find the lowest carb yogurt you can. I’ve found that either Greek Yogurt, Natural Yogurt or even Coconut Yogurt are my go to keto friendly yogurt options.
If the yogurt you’ve found is low fat, then simply add some healthy fats to bring the fat content up. Your options include stirring through some cream, coconut oil or MCT Oil to turn a low fat yogurt into a high fat, keto friendly yogurt.
You can have berries on the Keto Diet. I’ve had 3-4 strawberries a day throughout my Keto Diet journey and it’s had no impact on my weight loss. It’s easy to go overboard, so just be strict and limit yourself to a few a day and you’ll be great!
To prepare your trifle, simple any (or all) of the following options in a glass or mason jar and enjoy:
Feel free to mix and match the above to create your dream Keto Breakfast Trifle. I’ve shared what I included in mine below.

Keto Breakfast Scramble – Easy Low Carb Ketogenic Diet Breakfast Recipes and Ideas
Sometimes you can feel a little stuck with keto breakfasts – how many ways can you really have eggs and vegetables? Well, I prefer to embrace the ingredients that I can have and come up with fun and colourful bowl fulls for breakfast.
I’ve been experimenting with intermittent fasting lately, so have been having loads of vegetables with my 2 meals of the day. When intermittent fasting, it’s really important to make sure that you still meet your macros if you’re having fewer meals.
This keto breakfast scramble, does just that. It’s packed full of vegetables and protein and leaves you feeling so full that you just forget about your next meal.
In the below recipe I’ll walk you through how I constructed this exact keto breakfast scramble. Feel free to substitute in your vegetables and meat of choice.
Also, I haven’t specified volumes because it really depends on how many people you’re feeding and how hungry they are. This pan full was for myself and my Husband and there was also a portion leftover at the end. (I have a problem with over-catering, but then that means that there’s always heaps left over for the next meal/s!)

Strawberries and Cream Shake Recipe – Low Carb Keto Strawberry Milkshake Smoothie which is like a Dessert. Easy Ketogenic drink recipes.
Strawberries and cream is my absolute, all time, go to keto dessert. What’s simpler than a bowl full of strawberries topped with a (generous) swirl of cream?
Well, this low carb strawberries and cream shake recipe is like drinking a bowl full of strawberries and cream!
Of course I have to top my shake with a swirl of whipped cream. Because – whipped cream!
This makes an excellent keto dessert, but I’ve also had it for breakfast as it’s really a complete keto meal when you add the optional low carb protein powder. (Find low carb protein powder here.)
I like to add protein powder to my shakes and smoothies as I have a lovely vanilla flavoured protein powder which thickens and sweetens while adding a portion of protein to my drink.

Low Carb Breakfast Bowl Recipe – Gluten Free Keto Diet Breakfast Idea
It’s so easy to put together a keto breakfast bowl. Just raid your kitchen for vegetables which need to be used, fry them up and top them with an egg (or 3)!
For the first 6 or so months of my Keto Diet Journey, I had 2-3 eggs every day for breakfast. I took a little egg break after that, for balance, and I’m back having egg again, with just one a day. Feel free to have as many eggs as you like though.
In this instance, I had some broccoli and mushrooms in the fridge that were crying out to become my breakfast. You could mix it up and include your vegetable/s of choice in place of broccoli and mushrooms.
Here are some ideas of ingredients to fry in loads of butter or coconut oil and include in your breakfast bowl:

Brussels Sprouts Breakfast Hash Recipe – Easy low carb keto recipes – perfect fried eggs and veggies brussel sprout dish for breakfast or breakfast for dinners.
Preparing a breakfast hash is an easy, nourishing and hearty keto breakfast. You can mix and match your favorite vegetables, possibly even some meat too and top your creation with fried eggs.
Here are some ideas for more ingredients to mix and match in your keto breakfast hash:
Just keep in the mind the cooking times of each of the ingredients that you want to add and give them more (or less) time accordingly.
You may be wondering whether brussels sprouts are actually keto. And, the answer? Yes! They can absolutely be included in a low carb, keto diet.
A half a cup of brussel sprouts has just 2 grams of net carbs, so they can be enjoyed in dishes like this brussels sprouts hash for breakfast.
In this instance I went for brussels sprouts, mushrooms and red onion. Turns out the combination works really well together, resulting in a vibrant plate full that left me full until lunch time.
Note that onions are one of the highest carb vegetables. So, enjoy sparingly for flavor. I haven’t listed exact volumes of ingredients because it really depends on your tastes, what you have to hand and how many people you’ll be feeding.
You could serve this in a bowl, making a low carb breakfast bowl with your breakfast hash.
I hope you’ll be inspired by the recipe and create your own keto breakfast hash to your liking.
